These are a pair of really, really comfortable socks. They’ve got extra elastic around the arch and clever cushioning to protect your foot. They’re also really cosy so good for running on chilly days. Bridgedale blurb says they have a special WoolFusion construction which helps drive moisture away. I don’t know about that but I do know that even when my feet get wet, such as when I run through puddles –which is pretty often, this is Wales! – my feet still stay pretty warm. They’re also made of 27 per cent Merino wool so they feel nice and soft against your skin.
VerdictCosy, comfy and warm when wet.
