Add a decorators dust cover (polythene) to your tent bag and always pitch your tent on it. Keeps your ground sheet dry and you can pitch in wet paces as well

Secure your lens cap to your camera strap with some fishing line. Use some crimps and drill as small hole in the cap to pass the line through. Glue it in place.
