Hot Running!

The middle of a cruise to the canary islands was a strange venue for some of my ironman training! It was a great oppurtunity to see how my body dealt with running in the heat, and i'm pleased to report it did very well!

1. Drink little and often - too much water in one go may upset your stomach, but don't get dehydrated

2. wear a light cap - helps with the sun and though it will feel a little warmer than without, it helps stop sweat dripping in your eyes

3. Don't go too hard, too soon. Aclimatise to the conditions

4. ENJOY! it's not a muddy footpath in the rain ;-)

Icy Footpath?

Product/Skill: Winter Skills Interest: Walking
If it's icy first thing in the morning, don't forget your magic spikers, no matter how short your walk to work ;-) It's the right time of year to leave them in the boot of your car, maybe with a warm coat, decent pair of boots - just in case
