Way back in January, we ran a Winter Skills course in conjunction with Mountain Equipment, Gore and Plas y Brenin.  48 staff members participated in a 5 day course in Glencoe in superb winter conditions.  We were lucky enough to be accompanied by a freelance journalist, and you can read the story about his experience on the course here:

Fantastic Scottish winter conditions - snow, rain, wind... Being able to throroughly test Mountain Equipment clothing to the limit - using the gear for exactly what it was designed for and using that experience to confidently tell customers how well it stands up in harsh conditions. Being taught by world class mountain guides (and some of Britain's best climbers) in the PYB staff. And of course being in one of the wildest places on earth where rugged, windswept, snow covered craggy peaks tumble into deep, glassy lochs... all in the name of work!

I think it's safe to say meeting Dave McLeod was my highlight. Also introducing our staff to a real Scottish winter was pretty awesome.

What was the highlight of the course this year?
