Last update before the race:
Grabbed the chance of heading to the Lakes on Sunday 29th May to run my last recce before the race weekend at the end of July. The leg from Howtown on the North Eastern shore of Ullswater was 17miles South passed Haweswater reservoir and finally to Kentmere. Thats the last recce before the race and I reckon I have the route all sussed so come race day I should not have to consult the map too much which should save a little time . Next blog will be after the race if I survive!
