In 2007 the South West hosted the Tour of Britain professional cycle race for the first time, 3 years down the road the region has become synonymous with tough racing stages, beautiful scenery, dramatic open moorland, long climbs, intricate coastal villages and fanatical road side support offering both the riders and race spectators the real excitement of the sport. In 2010 we are able to extend the excitement by replicating the 175km route of this year’s Tour of Britain Stage 4 (Minehead to Teignmouth) for a ride open to the public.

In case the full on 175km is not exactly your cup of tea then there is a chance to complete the last challenging 70km of the route from Honiton or you can enjoy the tranquil setting of Teignmouth with a closed road family ride and cheer those riders doing the more arduous bit.
