Antony Jinman polar explorer and
teams of people from around Plymouth, including store staff will attempt to "ski" the almost 500 miles to the north pole from ward hunt island. Taking place within the Drake Circus Shopping Centre. This sponsored event is raising money for the Drake Foundation
The Final total raised by event participants was £2500...The even better news is that as the Drake Foundation is match funded the government will match that figure meaning that the people of plymouth and the plymouth cotswolds store have managed to raise £5000 for the local community!! This is an outstanding achievement thanks to all who took part! The event is helping to raise money for The Drake Foundation , this is a charity that gives back to the Plymouth area and ensures that the money raised is match funded by the government.Anthony Jinman is a local born and bred polar explorer that is going to be the first british man to ski across, Greenland, The North Pole and the South Pole in a year!!!!
We are helping raise the money and achieve the 600 miles that is needed to be skiied!!!
