The Caledonian Challenge offers you ‘The Walk of Your Life’. The goal is for your team to complete 54 miles in 24 hours, whilst raising funds to help to support some of Scotland’s most isolated communities. Once again, Cotswold Outdoor's Scottish stores will be getting right behind the event.

Your epic journey will take you through some of Scotland’s most famous, remote, rugged and stunningly beautiful landscapes. You will experience majestic views of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain, the magnificence of Glencoe and Buachaille Etive Mor, the wilds of Rannoch Moor, and the scenic Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

To take part in the Caledonian Challenge, you will need a team with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 6 people. Elite Runners can take part in teams of 2.

People from every walk of life can take part and we welcome participants at all fitness levels; from the complete novice to the most experienced hillwalkers and elite adventure racers. Just about anyone with the right training and preparation, a good team spirit and positive attitude can successfully complete the event.

The Scottish Community Foundation is a leading distributor of charitable funds, and a registered charity. The Foundation matches every £1 raised and distributed from the Challenge with £2 from other philanthropic sources to award grants to enterprising and dynamic voluntary groups and community organisations close to the course and throughout Scotland.
