Training on dartmoor Kilimanjaro Trek to raise money for Motorcycle Health Charity

From the 16th to the 27th September Derek Skinner a Cotswold Exeter customer will be climbing and scrambling 5,895m up Kilimanjaro.  Matt and the team at Cotswold Exeter have been supporting Derek with advice on kit, products and raffle prizes in order to help him achieve his goal.
Derek is doing this to raise as much money as possible for the registered charity Motorcycle Outreach, in memory of Simon Milward (1965-2005), a global humanitarian motorcyclist from Exeter who championed effective healthcare delivery by motorcycle.

Motorcycle Outreach (MoR) was set up in Simon’s memory by his friends and family to carry on his valuable work supporting the Health for All (HfA) project on the island of Flores, Indonesia.  HfA provides transport for effective healthcare delivery and enables 55,000 people living in remote areas to have access to doctors, nurses and midwives. Visit www.motorcycleoutreach.org for more information.

Derek also sees the epic 5,895 metre climb as a test of his skill and endurance.

Cotswold Exeter look forward to helping Derek reach the summit of Kilimanjaro and wish him all the best . We look forward to his report on his return.
