In the words of the organisers "Drover’s Revenge, a new 8 mile (approx.) multi-terrain running race that will take place on Sunday 19 February 2012 from the Chalke Valley Sports Centre , Broad Chalke near Salisbury. The course is not for the faint hearted. It will take you from the base of the Chalke Valley up a couple of testing climbs before the Drover takes his revenge along the Ox Drove and after a cracking section of trails through Knighton Wood. You’re then left with a 2k down-hill section towards the finishing line. It is likely to be muddy from the start, with sections of the Ox Drove resembling something like a swamp!
