About the store
With 8000 sq ft packed full of the most extensive range of outdoor clothing, rucksacks, footwear, camping products, travel accessories and climbing equipment from leading brands such as The North Face, Rab, Mountain Equipment, Macpac, Lowe Alpine and Marmot to name but a few. We're also one of the first stores in the country to be stocking the revolutionary Vibram Five Fingers! We also have a fantastic kids range, travel library, expert boot fitting service and a range of cycling and running gear.

Staff
We are proud to have on our team some of the most enthusiastic and highly experienced staff to offer sound advice based on their own extensive experiences. Between us we have travelled all over the globe and we have passionate mountaineers, climbers, skiers, mountain bikers, trail runners and walkers in our ranks. We are more than happy to pass on our knowledge, recommend places to visit or just swap adventure stories.

Supporting local groups
We have great links with local walking clubs, universities and Awesome Walls climbing centre. We currently sponsor two young, local climbers Lydia and Micahel who are doing extremely well - to check out their progress on our blog, click here. We are proud of our links with local groups and organisations, and do whatever we can to support them. Free Boot Fitting Service

Unless they're selected carefully and fit your feet perfectly, your new boots may leave you with bruised toes and painful blisters. The answer? Visit us in store where our trained boot fitting experts will measure your feet for length, width and weight distribution.
They'll test your boots in action on specially designed, outdoor-like incline boards and fine tune the fit where necessary.
Already have boots but having problems with them? No problem! Just pop in to store with your boots and we'll see what we can do. Often simple adjustments with insoles, lacing or manipulation can help.
