Welcome
The Kingston team would like to welcome you to their store. Now the oldest Cotswold Outdoor store in London, we have an amazing collection of very experienced staff from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, ranging from seasoned ice climbers to DofE leader/Assessors, and scout leaders. In recent years staff from Kingston have travelled across the globe with destinations including Norway, Scotland, Croatia, Borneo, and Disney Land.
After a successful expedition by members of the team to Mont Blanc in summer 2011, they have now set their sights a little closer to home with trips planned to Scotland and Cornwall to go sea kayaking, walking, windsurfing, and power kiting. They are looking forward to putting some of the new Active Shelland Neo Shell Jackets through their paces. I am told that there are also plans to head in to the mountains for a little winter mountaineering.

Location
This 5,500 sq. ft. store is spread over 2 floors, and is located at the top of Clarence Street; only 2 minutes walk from Kingston Railway Station, and only a minute walk from the main bus station. The Bentalls Centre is close by and there are numerous car parks.

Range
We pride ourselves on offering a complete selection of outdoor kit year round. Whether you need travel clothing during the winter or a down jacket during the summer, you can find it here. Knowledgeable and well-travelled staff are always on hand to provide advice, information and equipment for all your adventures. During 2011, we've had staff away snowboarding, skiing, backpacking, climbing, cycling and mountain biking, kite flying as well as competing in duathlons and marathons - you name it, and I'm sure we've done it! So don't be afraid to ask for advice. Plans are already taking shape for a raft of different trips and expeditions through 2012.

An extensive footwear range is backed up with experienced staff to provide the best footwear fitting service in the area. Also, a full range of outdoor equipment is on display ranging from clothing to sleeping bags, tents to rucksacks and climbing equipment to travel equipment. A large book, map and guide selection completes the picture. In addition, snow sports have always been a great passion in the store, and the newly expanded range of ski and snowboard wear and equipment in our dedicated department will ensure you are warm and comfortable, whether cruising on the piste or hiking the back country for fresh powder.

Kingston Store is also pleased to be supporting Chiswick and Teddington Volunteer RNLI stations in their effort to raise funds to cover the cost of replacing all the Lifejackets worn by the crews on the two stations and also cover the cost of running Lifejacket clinics in the River Thames area.
