You’ll receive a warm welcome at our Glasgow Silverburn store. Our staff are always happy to provide advice and assistance selecting outdoor clothing and equipment. We stock a variety of kit from a range of brands including (but not limited to) Berghaus, The North Face, Mountain Equipment, Rab, Scarpa, Meindl and Salomon. We’re confident that you will find the perfect kit for your needs.

Location


We’re located in Silverburn Shopping Centre, easily accessible from Junction 2 of the M77. With over 4500 free parking spaces and regular busses, into the centre of Glasgow, getting here couldn’t be easier!

Staff


Our staff come from a wide variety of outdoor backgrounds. We’ve got walkers, climbers, paddlers, bikers and trekkers. Need some information on that trip to Thailand? Buying some kit for your Silver DofE? Winter Mountaineering? No problem! We've got the staff that can help make choosing the right equipment easier. So if you have a story to tell, or would like some advice on gear you, then feel free to drop in - we'd love to see you.

Supporting local groups


We currently support many local groups; from mountaineering clubs, like the Langside Mountaineering Club, to DofE centres and Scientific Expeditions like those ran by the Glasgow University Exploration Society .

I am starting this group to promote ski-ing in Scotland and to try and provide the latest snow conditions or information about Scottish ski-ing. Even the BBC Snow and Skiing conditions weather forecast last night didnt say you could ski at Aviemore today but intermediates and Advanced definitely can and it looks pretty good today.
